  • Hampden-Sydney Volunteer Fire & Rescue @hsvfr_co2 recently teamed up with local departments to support a Tennessee station that lost everything in the wake of Hurricane Helene. By donating crucial tools and equipment, they provided much-needed relief and demonstrated the true spirit of service, proving that no distance is too great when it comes to helping those in need.

  • This past summer, government and theatre major Evin Burton ‘25 immersed himself in the world of Noh theatre, taking on roles as a performer, scholar, and playwright. Through this research journey, he explored how Western perspectives shape our view of this traditional Japanese art form, while gaining personal insights into diverse cultures, people, and the world.

  • Hampden-Sydney will host the 5th District Candidate Forum on October 17 at 6pm in Johns Auditorium, featuring John McGuire and Gloria Witt, candidates for Virginia’s 5th Congressional District. Seating is limited to 100 on a first-come, first-served basis, with doors opening at 5:15pm For those unable to attend in person, WSET ABC 13 will live stream the event on their website, which can be found at the link in our bio.
